We're looking for an editorial assistant to join our busy and diverse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in journalism.

You'll need to be comfortable covering a wide range of scientific topics. You'll also need to be comfortable with taking complex journal articles and distilling that information into short, engaging articles.

We are accepting remote applicants for this position, although you should be willing to work on London time and able to commute to London for interviews and meetings.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in either science or journalism.
  • A creative, engaging and entertaining writing style.
  • A genuine love for science. You don’t need to be able to explain black holes, but if you’re not willing to spend hours dissecting the latest Attenborough documentary, this probably isn’t the job for you!
