We’re looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person to deliver multichannel communications by creating engaging content for our diverse student audiences. This audience is primarily the 11,000 students studying at Goldsmiths College.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting all of our student-facing communications activities, leading on our aim to be helpful, responsive and relevant to students’ lives.

The role breaks down broadly into the following during the week...

  • About 40% of the time sourcing, writing and editing lifestyle content, blogs, articles and interviews
  • About 20% of the time creating newsletters via Mailchimp, including the planning and writing of content, scheduling and segmenting
  • About 30% of the time running our social media accounts
  • About 10% of the time managing content on our website

To do those things successfully you will need experience of managing and producing content. You will ideally have at least one year's relevant experience and be confident with your writing style and approach.

The ideal candidate would have a good understanding of how to use social media, Google analytics and using a CMS.

Most of the things in the role we can teach you but you need to be able to understand how to write content for different audiences.

You will manage our digital newsletters, curate our social media and produce content across our channels.

We're a flexible employer located in New Cross in Zone Two, with 24 days annual leave plus closure days at Christmas and Easter.

We're committed to being a learning organisation, and will support you to attend training, conferences and other organisations whilst you're with us to help your individual learning and development.
