PR Account Director - Travel PR - Oxford

A leading Travel PR agency is looking for a PR Account Director to join its team in Oxford. This agency has an excellent reputation within the industry and boasts an enviable client portfolio featuring tourist boards, hotels, airlines and tour operators.

You will provide strategic direction in the development and delivery of creative campaigns in-line with client briefs. You will work closely with clients to develop strong relationships and to position yourself as a trusted advisor. You will be responsible for developing effective media relations strategies and will be involved in producing a range of materials such as press releases, project proposals and presentations. You will also play a key role in business development activity, identifying and pursuing new clients and seeking out opportunities for growth within client accounts.

To be considered for this position you must be an ambitious and strategically-minded PR professional with a solid agency background and the proven ability to work effectively across multiple accounts. Travel PR experience is not essential as long as you have good consumer lifestyle experience and demonstrate a genuine interest in the travel industry. In addition, you must have an in-depth understanding of how the media operates and a proven track record in generating high quality coverage.
