Financial News is looking for a people correspondent to join its award-winning team.

We want someone who can delve into a wide range of topics that affect our readers.

Within any given month, you could be writing about cocaine use among traders, sexual harassment, whistleblowing, millennial burnout, being black in the City, profiling a doyenne of financial services or investigating blockbuster bonuses at banks.

We are looking for an individual who can uncover unique personal stories and bring a strong human interest element to everything they write.

As this is a generalist role, we expect you to work collaboratively with beat reporters on breaking news, exclusives and features.

You will also be expected to write deep dive stories that analyse and uncover trends and injustices within the sector.
