ITV's Good Morning Britain and Lorraine has an exciting opportunity for a Producer / Video Journalist to boost the programme’s coverage in the USA.

Based in Los Angeles, California, you will work to provide exceptional US content and ideas for both shows - working closely with both the GMB and Lorraine newsdesks, Entertainment and Planning teams and output producers.

You will be responsible for covering breaking news across the states, generating ideas, conducting interviews with contributors, writing briefs, shooting and editing VTs with celebrities and non-celebs, as well as producing live OBs.

There will be regular travel in the US and occasionally abroad. You will be required to work Sundays and irregular hours as needed. You will work closely with our LA Correspondent Ross King, but also be confident enough to work alone on breaking news and feature items.

This role is for an experienced, versatile, multi-skilled journalist; with camera and liveU expertise; You must be familiar with new broadcast technologies and methods, and confident in making creative and editorial decisions independently.
