As Dow Jones continues to explore what diversity and inclusion looks like as a company, DJMG is looking for a passionate, thoughtful and creative person to develop and execute a newsroom Diversity & Inclusion strategy that aligns with the greater Dow Jones D+I mission but also with the specific needs of Barron's, Marketwatch, FN and Moneyish in mind.

This person will be responsible for implementing newsroom-wide initiatives for recruiting and hiring, newsroom training, diversifying content including, but not limited to, photo selection, sourcing and topics covered.

The Editorial Director, Diversity & Inclusion will work across all DJMG brands, producing and assigning relevant content and columns, and will also serve as an external face of DJMG for related matters including panels, live journalism opportunities and media appearances.

Since this role will change over time, depending on the needs of the newsroom, this person will be flexible and willing to innovate and iterate.

The ideal candidate will have strong internal relationships within the company that can be leveraged for initiatives as well as a diverse external network.

This position will report to the Publisher and EVP, DJMG.
