London, United Kingdom

JOB DESCRIPTION

At Hearst UK, there’s always more to the story. Join us as our Fashion Editor to start the next chapter in your career.

We’re the UK’s leading premium publisher, and the people behind iconic media brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Country Living. We’ve created a working environment that encourages everyone to pull together. We never stop looking for brave new ideas. We’ll always try to develop and improve, we trust each other to do our best, and we have fun as we build on our heritage to make history.

The fashion team works across two of Hearst’s most exciting brands, Cosmopolitan and Women’s Health, delivering the very best style content across multiple platforms.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the digital fashion content across Cosmopolitan & Women’s Health. You will be managing the day-to-day content strategy, driving digital engagement and growth through timely news coverage, thought-provoking features, engaging video and social concepts. The role involves writing daily news and ecom stories as well as liaising with contributors and the wider fashion team to coordinate fashion content. You will be working closely with the SEO and central ecom teams to deliver revenue growth within the fashion section and writing monthly digital reports to gain insight and develop strategy.

ABOUT YOU

The ideal candidate will be a digital native with a proven track record of running a website vertical and writing traffic and revenue driving content. You’ll be fashion obsessed, with a keen eye for spotting the latest emerging trends and celebrity style moments. Brimming with engaging news, ecomms, features and commissioning ideas, you’ll be able to mastermind a busy schedule of planned content. The ability to write clean copy to tight deadlines, solid SEO skills and an ability to multitask are a must.

At Hearst UK, you can choose from a huge range of perks and benefits that can help you learn well, work well and live well including:

  • 25 days’ holiday (with the option to buy up to 5 additional holiday days)
  • Hybrid working
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Healthcare cash plan
  • Spend a charity day with your favourite good cause
  • Life assurance and pension scheme
  • Regular socials and more!

There’s more to your story than you imagine. And the next chapter begins right here.
