About the Role:

The Product Strategy & Marketing Internship is part of the Multi-Media Sales Team of The Wall Street Journal | Barron's Group. Through this internship, you will gain a basic understanding of all facets of media advertising and learn about our print & digital media sales process. You will get exposure to our product strategy & gain an understanding of multi-platform and cross-functional offerings, as well as an understanding and insight into Product Marketing

This is a hybrid role, based in our New York City office.

You Will:

  • Create sales collateral (one-sheets, turn-key packages, emails, etc.)
  • Manage editorial calendars, updates, etc.
  • Join meetings with product/editorial leads and gain experience & visibility into the process
  • Handle and produce relevant updates via our internal comms channels (A-Hed entries, etc.)
  • Receive exposure to all platforms and products and how they are usd to meet the needs of our clients
  • Gain a solid understanding of our product offerings, our competitive set and the tools we use regularly to help prioritize our time and energy


You Have:

 

  • Strong writing and design skills
  • Enrollment in Business, Marketing, Advertising, PR, & Digital Advertising major, preferred
  • Experience with Google Suite
  • Familiarity with email marketing software a plus (Pardot, Mailchimp)
  • Strong organizational skills and motivation

NYC Pay Range: $21.00/hour
