About the Role:

Dow Jones is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual for a Purchasing internship. You will report to the Manager, Purchasing and have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of Purchasing while working alongside a team of experienced professionals. You will participate in project work, including a purchase order review/clean-up project. In addition, you will assist in the day-to-day operations involved in purchasing.

The role is hybrid, based in our Princeton, NJ office.

You Will:

• Review purchase requisitions in SAP for accuracy and release for business and finance approval.
• Assist with project related work around closing out expired purchase orders
• Work closely with designated business groups and Finance to get vital information to complete work accurately and in a standard process.
• Collaborate with team members on management of shared email boxes and internal ticketing system
• Assist employees with P2P end to end process queries

You Have:

• At least one year of school completed, working towards a bachelor's degree
• Strong GPA (3.0 or higher); previous relevant internship or part-time work experience is a plus
• A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
• An analytical approach to solving problems
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail
• Competency with the MS Office suite, particularly Excel
