ABOUT THE ROLE

The purpose of this role is to oversee pre and post production across a number of titles such as Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Runner’s World, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Delish, House Beautiful and Country Living. This position will be key in ensuring quality control, schedule management and best in class pre and post production operations for all stakeholders and our audiences.

Central Video Team including videographers, video editors & programming management

Editorial Leads – Site leads, writers and experts

Talent Team – Coordinating with internal and external talent representatives to ensure smooth process for all involved in video production

Key Responsibilities -

  • To collaborating with editorial departments across Hearst UK throughout pre + post production management from ideation through to distribution of video content
  • Administrative tasks relating to sourcing locations and shoots (Per Diems, communicating with shows about travels, logistics, cost reporting, tracking etc).
  • Maintaining the Shoot Calendar and the Shoot Department Crewing Calendars along with maintaining tools such as Airtable + Trello.
  • Having visibility of the output of the department to help maintain quality standards with a view to continually raising the quality of output.
  • Adhering to consistent department workflows and processes and staying current with pipelines
  • Maintaining a good knowledge of production and site processing techniques.
  • Maintaining department Production documentation.
  • Supporting with releases and upload schedules across all platforms
  • To be an ambassador of Hearst UK and its values.
  • You may be required to undertake such further duties as your skills, qualifications and experience allow and/or as may be assigned to you from time to time.
     

ABOUT YOU

A strong, well-organised communicator with a passion for video and content production. You must have experience in an on-set production environment and seeing projects through pre and post-production steps. A working knowledge of social platforms and digital video series would also be an advantage, along with a proven track record of team collaboration to produce content.
