Live Squawk, Market Analyst/Reporter

Global News Services is looking for a financial market analyst/reporter to work on its flagship product, LiveSquawk News. 

LiveSquawk is a leading audio news service aimed at financial institutions, professionals, and retail investors. 

The successful candidate will help actively source, broadcast, and post relevant market-moving news via the in-house platform, as well as on various social media feeds. 

The job role involves conversing with a savvy market-focused audience, so knowledge of the markets is essential. As is assisting senior broadcasters/researchers with daily newsgathering and writing articles. 

Based in our main office in Spitalfields he/she should have a keen interest in geopolitical and financial market news. Be reliable, inquisitive, and quick to pick up new skills. 

The person should be a proficient writer, computer and internet literate -- including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel). As well as know their way around social media platforms. 

The role will include periodic shift work that encompasses Asia market hours. 

Salary range (£28-33k doe)
