As Social Media Lead, you will be working across a mix of high-profile B2C and B2B accounts, leading the social team at an award-winning content marketing agency. 

The Social Media Lead will be creative and full of new ideas, so you’ll need to think strategically, produce engaging and inspirational content across all platforms, and present to clients. You will lead the social content process from identifying opportunities and receiving briefs to creating campaigns and setting and monitoring KPIs, and you’ll be part of any new business work.

This is a key role in the agency. You’ll also lead social media knowledge and expertise across the team, share the latest developments, trends and best practice with clients and colleagues, and manage and develop a small team.

Core responsibilities 

  • Create audience and insight-driven campaigns for all social media channels
  • Lead the organisation and development of social media opportunities across accounts and new business
  • Regularly liaise with clients and external agencies 
  • Maintain expertise on emerging social trends and technologies 
  • Lead social best practice across the agency 
  • Set KPIs, monitoring and reporting, utilising a mix of tools including native and 3rd party channels, Adobe and Google Analytics
