Job Description:

Inorganics Analyst I

The Inorganics Analyst I reports to the Vice President, Global Inorganics and supports the four value

chains of the Inorganics business with respect to publishing market reports, developing annual and

bespoke studies, client and conference presentation preparations, project work and other related tasks.

The Inorganics Analyst updates and maintains graphs, tables, excel-based models and databases, edits

chemical market analyses and works with the content management system. The Analyst interfaces with

clients to provide data, information and website and online database training, as directed by the VP

Inorganics, Global Service Leads, and/or other Inorganics researchers. The Analyst also completes

specific research assignments and collects data from industry associations.

Job Duties:

 Fulfills data requests from clients as directed by consultants.

 Creates, updates, and modifies Microsoft Excel graphs and tables for monthly market reports and

annual world analyses.

 Proofs and edits consultant text written for market reports and world analysis.

 Creates charts, tables, and slides for presentation materials in Microsoft Power Point for meetings

and conferences.

 Maintains and audits world trade database (GTI) for select products. Prepares trade data sets on

request for consultants and clients.

 Gathers and maintains data from public sectors for consultant analysis.

 Contributes to the organization and execution of Inorganics conferences and webinars.

 Support Operations endeavors to improve and maintain processes and standardization.

 Completes specific research assignments associated with client support and bespoke research

contracts.

 Builds and maintains databases.

Requirements:

 Science-based Bachelor's degree; chemistry or engineering preferred, biological sciences acceptable.

Experience desired.

 Advanced Microsoft Office skills - Word, Excel, and Power Point. Experienced in all softwares used

(content management systems, Global Trade Atlas, databases, etc.) Excel superuser.

 Ability to multi-task.

 Strong organizational skills.

 Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

 Demonstrated ability to work fast and efficiently with a high degree of accuracy and correctness

 Demonstrated strong written and verbal communications skills.

 Outgoing personality; willing to develop relationships with clients.

 Quick learner and ability to complete tasks with limited coaching and support.

 High standard for quality and understanding of the concept of "customer delight" with respect to

internal and external clients.

 Strong team player with demonstrated collaboration and motivation skills with team members.

 Desire to learn and develop professionally
