We’re the UK’s leading premium publisher, and the people behind iconic media brands such as Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Country Living. We’ll always try to develop and improve, we trust each other to do our best, and we have fun as we build on our heritage to make history. In this role, you’ll be working on an exciting new area of the business: direct-to-consumer e-commerce platforms!

You’ll be working in the Marketplaces team within Hearst UK’s Homes & Lifestyle department. This is a small but fast-growing team working to launch and grow direct-to-consumer e-commerce platforms for much-loved magazine brands like House Beautiful and Country Living.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You’ll use commercial analysis, research and strategic thinking to drive the growth of the marketplaces and communicate our progress to stakeholders.

  • Analysis – you’ll be a true expert on the performance of our e-commerce brands, monitoring KPIs like traffic, conversion and average order value, sales and profit.
  • Reporting and presenting – you’ll use Excel and PowerPoint to create well-structured, clear, creative performance reports and present to stakeholders.
  • Research – you’ll carry out competitor research to understand how our brands are positioned and how we could improve. You’ll also pay close attention to market trends and consider how they may impact our brands.
  • Strategy – you’ll help to create the creative and trading calendars and take ownership for the pricing strategy. You’ll help to set targets, identify areas of poor or strong performance, and make strategic changes.
  • Project management – you’ll support the Head of Marketplaces on a range of projects such as growth strategies, brand collaborations, pitches to new suppliers or partners and proposals for new ventures.
