Insurance Post Editor

London, England, United Kingdom

Editorial, Full time

Description

Insurance Post, the leading insurance publication, is looking for an editor.

This role has been filled internally for the previous three incumbents [2003 – 2022] so it is rare that this position gets advertised externally making this a genuine once in a career opportunity.

To fill the vacancy we are looking for a senior journalist/editor who can manage and motivate the highly touted group of journalists that were runners-up in the B2B editorial team of the year category at the 2021 AOP Digital Publishing Awards, and now want to go one better.

Working in a fast-paced environment delivering news, analysis, data and research content about a constantly moving and essential business sector, the ideal candidate will have the drive, ambition, and hunger to make a real difference in what is one of Infopro Digital’s flagship UK brands.

Someone who can curate and help deliver the most invaluable “must read, listen or watch content” ahead of our competition through our various channels.

Someone who is confident, grab the mantle of being a brand ambassador, representing Insurance Post in meetings with senior market figures - and chairing in person or online events attended by as many as 1600 people.

A bit more

At Insurance Post we believe information gives you an edge, particularly in complex markets. That’s why we cover UK insurance and risk management space better than anyone else – it helps our readers make the right business decisions.

It is no coincidence that four of five candidates for the Headlinemoney General Insurance Journalist of the Year (B2B) 2022 were shortlisted for work on Insurance Post. It might be over 180 years old, but Insurance Post continues to maintain its standing as the UK’s most trusted source of in-depth insight, data and analysis on all aspects of the UK insurance industry.
