The Times graduate trainee scheme for business reporters

2 year training contract

This is an opportunity to work at one of Britain’s most respected national newspapers, alongside award-winning financial journalists.

We are looking for candidates to join our two-year training programme based in London. You will be able to demonstrate a passion for journalism as well as strong digital and social media skills and will have an insatiable appetite for current affairs, personal finance and business news.

Successful applicants will receive formal journalism training with News Associates, the UK’s No 1 journalism school, and on-the-job training on multiple desks at The Times.

If you are offered a traineeship, you will start work at the beginning of September 2022.
