The Stage Media Company, based in London Bridge, is dedicated to providing up-to-date news and services for the UK’s theatre, performing arts and book publishing industry with two key titles: The Bookseller and The Stage.
The Bookseller is the leading trade magazine for the publishing industry in the UK. Founded in 1858, we are fiercely independent. As well as the weekly print magazine, The Bookseller is available online via subscription, and runs The British Book Awards, The YA Book Prize, the Marketing & Publicity, Children’s and FutureBook conferences. It is now owned by The Stage Media Company.
Established in 1880, The Stage is the weekly newspaper and website providing news, opinion and features about the UK theatre and performing arts industry. The Stage runs leading annual events, including The Stage Awards, the highest-profile awards celebrating excellence in British theatre across the whole of the UK, and The Stage Debut Awards, the only awards dedicated to recognising breakthrough theatre talent.
