Job Description:

The News Assistant at MarketWatch will assist the site's editors in multiple ways, including publishing content, researching and reporting for stories, writing stories and creating visually compelling stories for platforms such as Google Web Stories and Instagram. This person will work closely with senior editors to fill in gaps in coverage while selecting and publishing partner content. They will also write stories to be published on MarketWatch.

Skills Required:

• Experience reporting and writing.
• Excellent attention to detail and editorial judgment.
• Copy editing skills
• Experience working with with graphics
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced newsroom.
