Job Description:

The Wall Street Journal seeks an experienced journalist to write a new column about the intersection of science, business and culture, offering insight into innovation in business and beyond.

The column will run weekly, with a robust digital footprint, and will appear in Exchange, the Journal's Weekend business and finance section.

You will:

-Write a weekly column offering fresh insight into the world of business and innovation.

-Be a volcano of ideas, with a dynamic and oft-replenished supply of planned subjects.

-Be ready to jump in on key business developments and themes of the moment.

You have:

-At least three years of reporting and writing experience.

-A clear and lively writing style and a knack for idea generation.

-A track record of accuracy, attention to detail and consistency in meeting deadlines.

While you may start remotely, this position will eventually be based in New York. A clear and likely candidate has been identified for this position.
