Job Introduction

The Mail on Sunday is looking for a talented senior graphic artist to work on its print edition.

Main Responsibilities

• Liaising with section editors and the Art Director to create infographics, artworks, charts and tables across all sections of the paper
• Delegating work to a team of graphic artists
• Laying out news pages
• Updating and evolving our current graphic style
• Hiring and managing freelancers

 Person Specification

• Experience of working for a national newspaper
• Be able to turn around engaging graphics to short deadlines
• Calm under pressure
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong interest in current affairs

 Essential Skills

• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign
• Atex content management a bonus
• Good communication
