The Big Life group are looking for a motivated and creative Digital content editor to join our Big Issue North Editorial team, based in the North of England.
Working alongside the Editorial team, you will take responsibility for sourcing, editing and creating high-quality content for Big Issue North’s digital channels, in particular the Street News mobile app, which we are launching in Autumn 2021
You will join an experienced editorial and production team who are dedicated to providing stories on social impact. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with third party content providers, ensuring a steady flow of content in line with our vision. You will review current users trends, and use this information to determine future content and direction.

Big Issue North provides a weekly magazine for people who are experiencing poverty, who sell it to help themselves to earn an income. We have also developed Street News, an app that provides news on social issues from across the world. We use the money from the sales of weekly magazine and Street News subscriptions to support vendors to reach their aspirations.
