Job Description: Financial News - the award-winning publication for Europe's financial services sector - is looking for a new trading and technology correspondent to join its newsroom.

The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter and collaborator with a strong track-record of scoops and feature-writing and an ability to develop and cultivate sources in the City. The beat will cover trading, technology and London's post-Brexit future which is crucial to FN's mission to set the agenda for the City.

The role requires strong storytelling abilities to enlighten readers about a complex and often secretive industry full of larger-than-life personalities at a time of great flux. The successful candidate will be expected to break agenda-setting scoops in areas including trading, London finance, the City of London , writing sharp analysis and investigative articles on in-depth topics, as well as securing interviews with finance's biggest names.
