This role would be given to a skilled line editor who can multitask, helping to expand both Yahoo Finance and Yahoo.com's ability to drive traffic and expand engagement. Applicant should be someone with at least five years of writing/editing experience, ability to maximize story impact with SEO/digital best practices, and strong managerial and multitasking abilities. Real time breaking news experience strongly preferred. 

Minimum qualifications:

Possess 5-10 years experience in an editing role, preferably managing at least one reporter

Command of AP Stylebook rules of editing

Be comfortable with basic copy editing techniques, as well as a sharp eye for SEO optimization and story framing

Be a self-starter and team player in a fast moving, collaborative yet highly entrepreneurial office culture.
