Job Details

City A.M. is looking for an ambitious, enterprising and hungry journalist to join our breaking news business desk for a six-month trainee programme.

They will be in the newsroom on two shifts, either 7am-11am or 8am-12noon, Monday to Friday, and will after a brief training period be right in the heart of the action, writing results stories and breaking news across the City for our website.

Reporters will be comfortable turning around short, sharp copy, with boundless energy and a willingness to muck in. They should have a grounding in the basics of financial reporting, but will be given advice and mentoring over the six months.

The successful candidates will join us on a six-month contract, and the role is ideal for those looking for their first job in journalism.

Click APPLY NOW and send your CV, and a covering letter which includes a paragraph on whether you think London will bounce back from Covid-19.
