We are looking for a brilliant journalist, who is passionate about investigative, local journalism.  You will work with Archant’s award-winning Investigations Unit on both long and short-term projects which will be published in our flagship title, the Eastern Daily Press.

Perhaps you have worked as a senior or chief reporter elsewhere and have investigated deep issues that affected the community that took several weeks or months to uncover and follow through to conclusion.   You may have enjoyed campaigning about something or building momentum on behalf of the community for a particular cause.  This role allows you to focus on this level of journalism that empowers and improves the community it serves. 

You must be qualified to senior NQJ level, have 100 wpm shorthand, confident with data/Excel, have at least two years’ journalism experience and a good understanding of media law and the Ipso code of practice.
 
You need to live and work in the county of Norfolk and you will have use of our city centre offices in Norwich. This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday – there is no shift or rota demands with this role.
