Communications Daily, the leading independent publication covering telecommunications, mass media and the internet, seeks an enterprising telecom reporter to write about policy-making related to broadband and the digital divide, telehealth and cybersecurity, and multibillion-dollar tech and telecom transactions.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated. They should be able to thrive in a daily deadline news environment and should have the judgment to decide what needs to be covered to inform an audience of top industry and government officials.

The successful applicant will be expected to write forward-looking stories on what’s happening behind the scenes at the Federal Communications Commission. They also will write longer-term and project-based stories.
