REDD Intelligence, a leading online provider of news and data covering debt markets in emerging regions, is seeking freelance reporters (stringers) to help lead its expansion into Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Turkey.
We are looking for reporters to cover corporates and sovereigns for the following three beats:
- Russia, Central Asia, Central and Eastern Europe
- Middle East, North Africa and Turkey
- Sub-Saharan Africa
We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, either as freelancers or staff reporters, with sound knowledge of financial markets and financial instruments, especially debt markets.
Fluency in relevant local languages is highly desirable, fluency in English is essential.
Duties will include the monitoring of local and international press, stock exchange announcements, rating agency releases, government and corporate press releases etc., and writing up (aggregating) relevant news in a credit-focussed form suitable for REDD’s subscriber base.
Training will be provided.
