Barron's is seeking an innovative and passionate visual storyteller to work with the Design Director, Director of Photography, and other Barron's editors to commission and produce compelling photography across all platforms.

The ideal candidate will help find up-and-coming and established photographers while maintaining the ability to dig deep to find the best existing photography where needed.

We're looking for somebody who:

• Has the ability to push and take smart risks to produce high-end, current work
• Can commission photographers, stylists, hair and makeup artists, set designers and other relevant crew
• Has extensive contacts with photographers, agents, stock houses, model and stylist agencies
• Has experience managing the brand's photography as it extends to social media
• Can negotiate fees, manage contracts and paperwork for assignments made
• Can color correct and maintain reproduction standards and work with players to ensure quality printing
• Has experience managing the brand's photography as it extends to social media

Technical skills:

• Adobe CC experience and knowledge is required
• Experience with Wordpress is a plus
• Experience with Methode and K4 are a plus
